PIC Energy Services, Inc. Announces Startup and Commissioning Contract with S & B Engineers and Construction, LTD.

ATLANTA (July 25, 2001): PIC Energy Services, Inc. is pleased to announce our start-up and commissioning agreement with S & B Engineers and Construction, LTD., during the conversion of the City of Lakeland’s McIntosh Plant in Florida from the existing 249MW 501G simple cycle combustion turbine to acombined cycle plant. The combined cycle plant will be able to generate more power with a better efficiency ratio. PIC will also provide technical training services to the City of Lakeland operators to enhance the safety and reliability of the plant and increase the performance of the equipment.

PIC was the appropriate choice for this S & B conversion project due to PIC’s wide range of value added services and experience in Startup and Commissioning of similar projects. The relationship is an excellent compliment to S & B’s project capabilities.
