PIC Sponsors the 7th Annual Latin American Leadership Forum
ATLANTA (April 27, 2009) - PIC is pleased to be a Silver Sponsor of the 7th Annual Latin American Leadership Forum, held this week in Houston. Each year the Latin American Leadership Forum provides a professional and organized setting to discuss the top 50 infrastucture projects in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America. These projects are valued at over $50 billion.
As Latin America’s energy demands continue to grow, it is necessary to evaluate the need for new projects to provide more power and capacity to this region. Hosted by CG/LA Infrastructure, this three-day event offers the opportunity to connect and strategize with leaders and experts across 10 infrastructure sectors including electricity generation and “new energy”.
The 7th Annual Latin American Leadership Forum will present PIC with opportunities to further its global expansion with a focus on Latin America. While there have been no major developments over the past decade, the privatization of the energy industry in Latin America has stimulated new players to begin entering the market. During this forum, PIC representatives will be manning an exhibition booth, attending workshops and roundtables and conducting private meetings with executives and VIPs from all aspects of the energy industry.
