As 2011 gets underway it is more evident than ever that technology is the key to our future. While we may not be living the Jetson’s lifestyle (yet!), technology has become a driving force in all aspects of our lives.
As part of the Class of 2011, PIC’s Chief Marketing Officer, Todd Grzech, discusses technology in the power industry in the January/February issue of World Generation magazine. While the power industry only recently welcomed technology as a source of process improvement, Grzech anticipates tremendous growth using technology to create and deliver service offerings.
“I foresee an increase in the utilization of technology to aid in the construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance of power plants as we move forward,” said Grzech. “We need to create an environment where information and knowledge are at the fingertips of every employee.”
