The PIC Companies Announces Appointment of General Manager of Power Industry Consultants

ATLANTA (July 18, 2005) - Mr. James R. Flandreau - Chairman of The PIC Group, Inc. and Mr. Matthew C. Runyon - Chief Operating Officer of The PIC Group, Inc., today announced the appointment of Todd Grzech as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Power Industry Consultants, Inc.

As General Manager of Power Industry Consultants, Inc., Mr. Grzech will have direct responsibility for all consulting and technical services worldwide, including staffing, start-up and commissioning and strategic business relationships in the power generation industry.

Mr. Grzech has over 16 years experience in the Power Generation and related industries. Mr. Grzech joined PIC in 2001 as part of the sales team. As Mr. Grzech’s responsibilities increased, he developed and refined PIC’s Technical and Consulting Services offerings. Prior to joining PIC, Mr. Grzech served as Operations Manager and Project Manager at the Savannah River Site, where he oversaw the integration of a state-of-the-art control room for processing and storing radioactive waste. His tenure at the Savannah River Site enabled Mr. Grzech to become well versed in all aspects of Startup and Commissioning and Operations, including Procedures, Turnover Packages, Training, Maintenance Programs, and Status Control.

Mr. Grzech is a graduate of Purdue University with a BS in Engineering. He was also accepted to Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management’s Executive MBA Program and subsequently graduated with an MBA in 1999.
