PIC Provides Supervision and Craft Labor Support for an Alstom 11NM Combined-Cycle Plant in Canada

ATLANTA (June 22, 2006) - The PIC Companies is pleased to announce the completion of a major overhaul of an Alstom 11NM Gas Turbine at the West Windsor Cogeneration Facility, owned by SUEZ Energy Generation NA (SEGNA.)

PIC Turbine Services provided supervision and craft labor in support of SEGNA’s internal fleet maintenance group. The West Windsor Cogeneration Facility is a combined-cycle, natural-gas facility that provides electricity to the Ontario Electricity Financial Corporation (OEFC.)

The Alstom11NM is a dry, low NOx gas turbine, with a power turbine, compressor and generator mounted on a single shaft. Steam is produced in a three-drum, heat-recovery steam generator (“HRSG”) at different pressures. The steam is supplied to a 33-MW steam turbine/generator and provides extraction steam for two steam customers, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) and Canadian Salt Company.

PIC brought very knowledgeable supervision and craft labor personnel with proven execution experience to the project. PIC’s personnel showed great initiative and worked very well with our own internal fleet maintenance team, in order to help us complete this essential scheduled Major Outage within the 21-days allotted. I would definitely recommend the use of PIC Turbine Services to support SUEZ Energy Generation NA (SEGNA) with our maintenance requirements in the future,” stated Keith Peddle, Plant Manager of the West Windsor Cogeneration Facility.
