PIC Receives Four New Releases in Support of AEP’s WFGD and SCR Commissioning Efforts
ATLANTA (May 31, 2006) - The PIC Companies Technical & Consulting Services Division has received four new releases under their blanket contract with American Electric Power (AEP.) Two of the most recent releases are to provide commissioning support for outages being performed at AEP’s Cardinal and Clinch River Facilities. The other two releases are to provide commissioning schedule and forecasting services for the installation of wet flue gas desulphurization (WFGD) systems at AEP’s Muskinghum River and Conesville facilities.
The nonexclusive blanket contract, awarded in October 2005, allows PIC to support all of AEP’s facilities as identified by AEP through the provision of commissioning and start-up services.
Todd Grzech, Senior Vice President of PIC’s Technical & Consulting Services said, “The receipt of these additional releases demonstrates AEP’s continued trust in PIC’s solid commissioning programs and personnel. We are proud that AEP continues to look to PIC in order to receive industry-best commissioning services, and look forward to contributing to each and every project’s success.”
