PMEG Continues working with Termoselva in Peru
January 2006 | Peru - In January of 2003, PIC signed a long-term Operation and Maintenance agreement and a three-year Major Maintenance agreement for the Termoselva Gas & Power Project facility in Peru.
This Gas-to-Power facility consists of two Alstom GT11NM Gas Turbines in Simple Cycle. PIC delivered Mobilization services and currently provides Operations & Maintenance and Major Maintenance Management for this facility on a Care, Custody, and Control basis.
In January 2006, PIC-Marubeni Energy Group (PMEG), a subsidiary of PIC, was awarded a new contract extension. During this agreement, PIC Turbine Services also successfully performed more than 19 minor inspections, five major maintenance inspections, and the management of two compressor upgrades on Units 1 and 2.
PMEG has achieved and maintained higher values of turbine-generator availability versus the reported ORAP global standards for ALSTOM GT11NM Engines.
